Before you comment

Hello!

Thanks for stopping by.  I like to think there are people out there who’re reading this and perhaps even finding it interesting/useful.  So if you have feedback I’d love to hear it.  If you’re commenting on something I wrote (and this applies doubly to what someone else has said about what I wrote) it might help to keep in mind what this blog is about and the things that I would find offensive (see About me).  Basically it boils down to this:

  • be aware of your privilege and act accordingly.
  • try to be clear and if applicable, kind/constructive.

Discussion is good and to be encouraged; being mean, not so much.

  1. Hi there,

I agree 100% , when we make comment we have to be kind and constructive, respect others.

I absolutely enjoyed every little thing you wrote. Keep up the work of questioning society, speaking your mind, and pointing out controversy.

    Hello,
Your blog just caught my eyes and I must say I’m glad it did. In total agreement with you regarding the discussion vs. jerk part. Personally, I actually prefer to hear when people disagree with me as long as done in a respectful manner. It has been my experience that the ensuing discussion only allows you to fine tune and discover aspects of yourself and your beliefs that you may not have addressed. But thats beside the point. Keep up the good work! Im interested to see what you have in-store for the future (whether i agree with it or not).
